A specialist in neuropsychiatry and founder of the Blumenthal Psychiatric Hospital in the Hadar neighborhood of Haifa.
The Neuropsychiatric Society was founded by a group of renowned psychiatrists who immigrated from Germany in 1933 and thereafter. These experts completely changed the face of psychiatry in Palestine.
Following their arrival, the psychiatric clinics of Hadassah in Jerusalem and the Kupat Holim Clalit clinic in Tel Aviv opened their doors, as did private psychiatric institutions.
